Mary Ann's Story
Updated March 10, 2015. To all my 1960 classmates: On February 14, 2015, Larry French and I were married!!! I know he is good friends with many of you. We both lost our spouses and re-connected at the class reunion in October 2013. And now we are married! We are making our home here in Acworth, GA.
Life
I Met my husband, Donald, in college at Memphis State. We moved to Atlanta, GA in 1965 when he became a pilot for Delta Air Lines.
We have 2 sons who are both attorneys here in Atlanta. We have 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 10-17 who are a joyous delight to us. One of them was adopted from Bulgaria when he was 4 years old.

dchildren is playing. My granddaughter recently accepted an offer to play Fast Pitch Softball for Georgia Tech which is here in Atlanta.
I found an old album that held my Elvis Presley autograph. Have had a great time showing it to all my family and friends and telling them stories about his time at Ft Hood!
Update: Dec 2011
I lost my husband Aug 2010 to lung cancer. Moves to Acworth GA which is on the very NW outskirts of Atlanta. Church is still a big part of my life. Grandchildren still keep me hopping. Two boys (17, 13) are now extremely dedicated to track and qualified for nationals last year in New Orleans. Both finished in the middle of the pack. Granddaughter now in her third year at GA Tech and had been named an ACC Scholar Athlete for last 2 years. She plays outfield for the Lady Jackets.
